Delivery statusStart 1 April 2027 · trial days from March 2027

I learned sales end to end: cold calling, needs analysis, closing and, as head of a regional office, my own team of eight advisors. I am in the final year of a work-integrated (dual) electrical engineering degree, current average 1.8 on the German scale (1.0 is best). I build my own sales tools with AI.

Luminovo makes the electronics supply chain faster and cheaper. So my application is built like a supply chain: six stages from the first market signal to an optimised customer supply chain, each showing what I bring.

Why Luminovo

  1. AA product whose engineering I understand

Luminovo brings electronics procurement, engineering and suppliers together on one shared set of data: prices, availability, lifecycle, compliance. As a final-year electrical engineering student I understand what engineering is talking about, and I am now learning the language of procurement.

  2. BA segment being built

Luminovo is growing its OEM segment in DACH right now. What counts there is handling cold calls, qualifying cleanly and bringing market insight back to sales and marketing.

  3. CA team that values building

The role names self-built automations as a plus. I build my own tools and want to use that for Luminovo’s pipeline.

01–06Overview

My supply chain for Luminovo

Six stages from the first market signal to an optimised supply chain at the customer. Each stage shows what happens there, what I bring and how I would approach it at Luminovo.

  1. 01 Market & signal Research with my own tools
  2. 02 First contact Cold calling by phone
  3. 03 Qualification Needs analysis, SPICED
  4. 04 Hand-off & close Closing, leading a team
  5. 05 Customer supply chain Engineering: parts, bills of materials
  6. 06 Optimisation Automate, measure

Stage 01of 06

Market & signal

Stage 01 of 06

What happens here: Before calling an OEM, it has to be clear why this one and why now: a new plant, a job ad in component management, the end-of-life notice of a widely used part.

What I bring

  • Before every first meeting I research the studio from public sources with AI support and write it up in a dossier. We analysed the first enquiries with AI support, and I then replaced a form question where most studios had simply picked “full package” or “not sure yet”.

Evidence SALOONEA, dossier per prospect · enquiry funnel live

  • I track which channel an enquiry comes from (UTM source tracking, only with consent).

How I would do it at LuminovoProposal

Segment: mid-sized makers of industrial sensors and automation. I build a list of public, company-level signals (job ads for component management, new plants, end-of-life notices) and call first where the signal is freshest.

Next: stage 02: First contact →

Stage 02of 06

First contact

Stage 02 of 06

What happens here: The first call decides whether a technical buyer listens. In DACH, phone first works best.

What I bring

  • Cold calling and building my own client base at Deutsche Vermögensberatung. Rejection was part of every day, and I booked my own meetings.

    Evidence DVAG, Nov 2021 – Jun 2023

  • Ran training sessions and gave talks in front of large groups. Speaking to people is part of my everyday work.

    Evidence DVAG

How I would do it at LuminovoProposal · fictional person

“Good morning, Ms Example. Furkan Dag from Luminovo in Munich. This is a cold call, so I’ll keep it short. I’m talking to procurement and engineering leads at sensor manufacturers because end-of-life notices are hitting many long-lived industrial designs. One question, then you decide if it’s relevant: how quickly do you know today which of your bills of materials contain a discontinued part? Minutes, hours or days?”

Why phone first: in Germany the rules for promotional cold email to businesses are stricter than for calls. I would agree the exact sequence with RevOps.

Next: stage 03: Qualification →

Stage 03of 06

Qualification

Stage 03 of 06

What happens here: Not every contact is a fit for Luminovo. Qualifying means understanding situation, pain, impact, trigger and decision makers early.

What I bring

  • Needs analysis for private and business clients, from the first question to the recommendation.

    Evidence DVAG

  • Qualification turned into software: a 14-question intake form that pre-sorts studios before the first meeting starts.

    Evidence SALOONEA, live

How I would do it at LuminovoProposal

Situation
Bills of materials live in ERP and Excel, data comes from several distributors.
Pain
End-of-life notices and allocation surface late.
Impact
Expedite fees, redesigns, late deliveries.
Critical Event
Annual negotiation, customer audit or ERP migration.
Decision
Procurement and engineering decide together.

All assumptions, to be tested in the conversation. SPICED is the method Luminovo names in its Account Executive posting.

Next: stage 04: Hand-off & close →

Stage 04of 06

Hand-off & close

Stage 04 of 06

What happens here: A BDR hands qualified meetings to the Account Executive with full context. Closing is the goal behind it.

What I bring

  • Closing deals on commission and building my own team: at Deutsche Vermögensberatung I worked my way up from assistant advisor via Agenturleiter to Regionalgeschäftsstellenleiter (head of a regional office). Recruited and led 8 advisors, trained many more and ran training sessions.

    Evidence DVAG, Nov 2021 – Jun 2023

  • At SALOONEA I lead the sales meetings and coach my wife, who owns the business, in running them. Enquiry, appointment and meeting guide sit in the Command Center I built for this.

My hand-off note to the AE

  • Account and segment
  • Contact (role)
  • Situation in the customer’s words

Next: stage 05: Customer supply chain →

Stage 05of 06

Customer supply chain

Stage 05 of 06

What happens here: At the OEM it becomes clear whether Luminovo adds value: bills of materials, prices, availability, lifecycle and compliance across procurement and engineering.

What I bring

  • Work-integrated bachelor’s in electrical engineering at IU Munich, 135 of 180 ECTS, current average 1.8. Selected modules: Fundamentals of Electronics (1.0), Mechatronic Systems (1.0), Op-Amp Circuits (1.3), Microcontrollers project (1.3).

Evidence Transcript of Records, included in the application PDF

  • Since Oct 2023 at a building services engineering firm: contributing to the design of electrical and building automation systems, supporting site supervision. I know the side where OEM devices end up being installed.

Evidence San TGA Engineering GmbH, Munich

Next: stage 06: Optimisation →

Stage 06of 06

Optimisation

Stage 06 of 06

What happens here: Luminovo promises customers lower costs and faster processes. The same applies in sales: measure, automate and bring insight back.

What I bring

  • I analyse our own funnel: some studios submitted the form but did not book a meeting. I found the cause: on phones, the booking button sat below the visible area. The fix is in progress.

    Evidence SALOONEA, enquiry funnel

  • For SALOONEA, the social media agency for beauty studios that my wife and I are building, I built the entire sales machine with Claude Code and Codex: I set the requirements, make the decisions and sign off the results; the AI agents write most of the code.

Case study: problem, decision, my part, build, check
Problem
Without pre-qualification every first meeting starts from scratch: what does the studio need, which scope fits, when does it want to start?
Decision
Instead of a contact form, a 14-question intake form on the studio, its goals and the desired scope. One question pre-sorts the matching package. Scheduling comes only after submission.
My part
Designed the flow and questions together with my wife; the requirements, decisions and sign-off were mine. AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) wrote most of the code.
Build
Static website, server functions with validation, spam protection and rate limiting, a database with access rules, instant email to the team, hand-off to Calendly, source tracking only after consent.
Check
192 automated website tests passing (as of 27 Sep 2026). After an AI-assisted analysis of the first enquiries, I replaced a question that barely distinguished between leads.
Value
The sales meeting starts with context: answers on the studio, its goals and the desired scope are known beforehand.
U2 Command CenterInternal pipeline tool: enquiry inbox, appointments, first-call guide live, internal two-factor login · interview demo with test data
Case study: problem, decision, my part, build, check
Problem
Enquiry, appointment and meeting prep belong in one place; otherwise context gets lost between enquiry and conversation.
Decision
A dedicated internal tool, shaped around the flow enquiry → first meeting → offer, with two-factor login.
My part
Defined the flow, stages and rules; signed off. Most code written by AI coding agents.
Build
Web app on the same database as the funnel. Inbox, appointments and the first-call guide are live. Later stages (offer, closing, activation) are built but not live yet.
Check
New stages go live only after my sign-off; before that, a second AI agent usually reviews them independently.
Value
I go into every sales meeting with full context.

U4 Studio OSApp for studio owners: appointments, clients, finances, documents, text capture with AI pilot internal pilot since Sep 2026 · 1,678 automated tests passing (27 Sep 2026)
Case study: problem, decision, my part, build, check
Problem
The idea: appointments, clients, receipts and social media tasks in one app instead of many.
Decision
A web app first; the iPhone version is built as a prototype. The AI is an external API, not a model of our own. The app completes its suggestions with fixed rules and shows them for confirmation before anything is saved; if the AI is down, a rule-based parser takes over.
My part
Co-developed the product idea; requirements, decisions and sign-off. Most code written by AI coding agents.
Build
Web app with a cloud database and access rules, text capture through an AI API, iPhone shell as a prototype. Pilot operation since late September 2026.
Check
1,678 automated tests passing (27 Sep 2026). Payments in test mode.
Value
The goal is the next stage of the sales machine: what the sales meeting promises, the app is meant to deliver in the client’s daily work.
U5 Instagram metricsDaily automatic import of account metrics into the app internally tested daily import set up in the pilot; first run on 26 Sep 2026

How I build with AI

  1. Define requirements, approve the spec
  2. Approve the design
  3. Have it built: Claude Code for app and website, Codex for the server
  4. Independent review by a second agent
  5. Test evidence without real data
  6. My sign-off, then live

How I would do it at LuminovoProposal

What I would track at Luminovo

Conversations, qualified meetings, accepted hand-offs, and customers’ own words as feedback for sales and marketing. I automate repetitive work (research, hand-off notes) so there is more time for the phone.

08Known bottlenecks

What I am still learning

Every supply chain has bottlenecks. Here are mine, each with the plan behind it.

  1. E1

Technical B2B sales to OEM buyers is new to me. Cold calling, qualification and closing I know from financial sales.

Before I start: practise openers for technical buyers in German and ask for feedback. From day one: fixed calling blocks, and I track dials, conversations and meetings.

  2. E2

I have not used Apollo, Clay, Lusha or Sales Navigator in daily work yet.

Learn the basics before I start. I have built lead capture, qualification and hand-offs myself; the tools themselves are new to me.

  3. E3

I know electronics procurement from research so far, not from practice.

Be fluent in terms like allocation, PCN and last-time buy before day one, and work through Luminovo’s public learning material.
